Yasmin Medical Uses
Yasmin (Drospirenone; Ethinyl Estradiol) is an oral contraceptive (birth
control pill). This product combines an estrogen and progestin, similar
to the natural sex hormones (estrogen and progesterone) produced in
a woman's body. Ethinyl estradiol is the estrogen and drospirenone is
the progestin. This product can prevent ovulation and pregnancy. In
general, a combination of estrogen and progestin works better than a
single-ingredient product.

Order Yasmin - birth control pill
Oral contraceptives are known also as the Pill, OCs, BCs, BC tablets,
or birth control pills. Most birth control pills contain the combination
of the hormones estrogen and progesterone to prevent ovulation (the
release of an egg during the monthly cycle). A health care provider
must prescribe birth control pills. The method is highly effective if
the woman remembers to take her pill consistently each day. Women who
experience unpleasant side effects on one type of pill are usually able
to adjust to a different type. About 2 to 3 pregnancies occur over 1
year out of 100 women who never miss a pill. Once a medicine has been
approved for marketing for a certain use, experience may show that it
is also useful for other medical problems. Although these uses are not
included in product labeling, oral contraceptives are used in certain
patients with the following medical conditions: Amenorrhea; Dysfunctional
uterine bleeding; Dysmenorrhea (painful menstrual bleeding); Hypermenorrhea
(excessive menstrual bleeding); Emergency contraception within 72 hours
of unprotected intercourse; Endometriosis (painful bleeding from uterine-like
tissue that can grow in different parts of the female body).
