Lamisil - is a medication used to treat infections caused
by certain types of fungus. It is most commonly used for skin
and nail infections. Lamisil Tablets are a highly effective treatment
for mild to severe nail fungus infection. Lamisil Tablets are
an FDA-approved pill that treats for nail fungus infection. Unlike
surface treatments you try on your own, this medication work through
the bloodstream to target the infection where it lives, deep under
the nail. Lamisil Tablets aren't for people with liver or kidney
problems.
Dosage: The following information includes only the average
doses of this medication. If your dose is different, do not change
it unless your doctor tells you to do so.
- For patients with fingernail onychomycosis: Take one 250 mg
tablet once daily for 6 weeks
- For patients with toenail onychomycosis: Take one 250 mg
tablet once daily for 12 weeks.
