Denavir common medical usesuses:
Denavir is an antiviral medication. This medicine is used topically on
the lips and faces of adults to treat cold sores caused by herpes simplex
virus. Denavir does not cure herpes infections but decreases pain and
itching if applied when the earliest symptoms first appear.
Denavir contraindications:
Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to any ingredient in this

How to use Denavir:
How much medicine you take and how often you take it depends on many factors,
including the condition being treated and the age and weight of the patient.
If you have any questions about the amount and/or frequency of the medicine
you are taking, talk with your doctor. This medicine should only be used
on cold sores on the lips or face. Start treatment as soon as cold sores
or lesions appear. It is usually used externally every 2 hours while you
are awake for 4 days. Clean and dry the area before applying the cream

feel well. Do not stop taking this medication without checking with your

by your doctor.
